A LANDSCAPE FELT RATHER THAN DESCRIBED
I want a landscape photograph to do more than describe a place. I want it to change the atmosphere around it.
The Gloaming brings together three photographs from my wider Transient Vistas series, made in Harris & Lewis in 2023. Created using intentional camera movement, they allow the hills to dissolve into mist, shadow and gathering light. Each image holds the sensation I remember more than the literal view: stillness, weather, distance, and the pull of a landscape that continues to live in memory.
Released together as signed open-edition prints, these works are intended for spaces where the eye - and the mind - can rest.

LIVING WITH THE WORK
A quiet presence in the room
The Gloaming was created for spaces that call for stillness rather than spectacle. Its softened horizons, restrained palette and gathering light bring depth and atmosphere without asking to dominate the room.
At 20 × 16 inches, each print can be placed in a standard frame or custom matted to suit its surroundings. The work sits naturally alongside wood, linen, stone and other tactile materials, making it especially suited to bedrooms, reading spaces, boutique hospitality and restorative interiors.

Each photograph is offered as an open-edition fine-art print. Every print is individually inspected and hand-signed in the lower border.
Made in Harris & Lewis in 2023, these photographs were first developed within my wider Transient Vistas body of work. The Gloaming brings the three works together as a focused collection for direct print release.
OPEN EDITION
The number of prints is not fixed. Each is nevertheless produced to the stated specification, individually inspected and signed by the artist.
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
Every print is supplied with a signed certificate recording the artwork title, collection, process, paper, dimensions, certificate reference and date.
FULFILMENT & DELIVERY
FROM MY STUDIO TO YOUR HOME
Each print is made to order by my professional fine-art laboratory. Once it arrives at my studio, I personally inspect and sign it before placing it in a protective clear sleeve and shipping it flat in sturdy protective packaging. A signed Certificate of Authenticity and a care and framing card are included.
Prints are sold unframed, allowing you to choose the frame and mat that best suit your space.
Please allow approximately 10-14 business days for your order to be prepared and dispatched. Tracking details will be provided as soon as your print is on its way.
